NAPOLEON HILL’S THINK AND GROW RICH IS AGAINST CHRISTIANITY.

CHRISTIANS BEWARE!!!

Napoleon Hill's principles in Think and Grow Rich are earthly demonic teachings. James 3:15-18 warns Christians of such unspiritual demonic wisdom that doesn’t come from heaven. It is the wisdom of selfish ambition from the adversary. His ambition is to acquire the riches of this earth. Jesus teaches in Matt 6:19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Napoleon Hill states in Grow Rich with Peace of Mind (pp. 158-160), "Now and again I have had evidence that unseen friends hover about me, unknowable to the ordinary senses. In my studies I discovered there is a group of strange beings who maintain a school of wisdom. ... The School of Masters who can disembody themselves and travel instantly to any place they choose ... to give knowledge directly, by voice ... Now I knew that one of these Masters had come across thousands of miles, through the night, into my study ... much of what he said already has been presented to you in the chapters of this book and will follow in other chapters. 'You have earned the right to reveal a Supreme Secret to others', said the vibrant voice. 'You have been under the guidance of the Great School. ... Now you must give the world a blueprint'."

In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 14 pp. 189), Hill writes of his "meetings" with nine men from the past (most dead): Emerson, Paine, Edison, Darwin, Lincoln, Burbank, Napoleon, Ford, and Carnegie, stating, "I now go to my imaginary counselors with every difficult problem which confronts me and my clients. The results are often astonishing."

“These facts are mentioned preliminary to a statement of fact which I shall now make, namely, that during my meetings with the “Invisible Counselors” I find my mind most receptive to ideas, thoughts, and knowledge which reach me through the sixth sense. I can truthfully say that I owe entirely to my “Invisible Counselors” full credit for such ideas, facts, or knowledge as I received through “inspiration.” In Think and Grow Rich (chap 14 pp. 189)

Napoleon Hill teaches that we must have an intense desire, an obsession for riches. This is clearly against the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are warned that this kind of obsession from earthly things will led a man away from the faith. Losing your soul is not worth a short lifetime of riches and an eternity absent from God. The bible teaches us in 1 Timothy 6:9-12 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

“He should have told us, that before we can accumulate riches in great abundance,
we must magnetize our minds with intense DESIRE for riches, that we must become
“money conscious until the DESIRE for money drives us to create definite
plans for acquiring it.” In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 1 pp. 23)

“Every human being who reaches the age of understanding of the purpose of money,
wishes for it. Wishing will not bring riches. But desiring riches with a state of
mind that becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire
riches, and backing those plans with persistence which does not recognize
failure, will bring riches.” In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 2 sect. Desire pp. 29)

“The Master Key is intangible, but it is powerful! It is the privilege of creating, in
your own mind, a BURNING DESIRE for a definite form of riches.” In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 15 sect. Fifty-Seven Famous Alibis pp. 220)

Napoleon Hill has no regard for Christ as being the Son of God that came in flesh to save the world. He speaks of Christ as being in an imaginary council meeting that he seeks information from with other “great leaders”. This is the process that Napoleon Hill teaches others to train their sixth sense to contact demons.

“ Nearly all great leaders, such as Napoleon, Bismark, Joan of Arc, Christ, Buddha,
Confucius, and Mohammed, understood, and probably made use of the sixth sense almost continuously. The major portion of their greatness consisted of their knowledge of this principle.“ In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 14 sect. The Sixth Sense pp. 190 )

Prayer is our communication to God. Jesus Christ prayed and teaches his followers to do the same. Napoleon Hill describes prayer as a science to reach the unknown and not and intimate connection through the Holy Spirit to your heavenly Father.

If you are an observing person, you must have noticed that most people resort to prayer ONLY after everything else has FAILED! Or else they pray by a ritual of meaningless words. And, because it is a fact that most people who pray, do so ONLY AFTER EVERYTHING ELSE HAS FAILED, they go to prayer with their minds filled with FEAR and DOUBT, which are the emotions the subconscious mind acts upon, and passes on to Infinite Intelligence. Likewise, that is the emotion which Infinite Intelligence receives, and ACTS UPON. In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 12 sect. The Connecting Link pp. 174- 175)

The time will come when the schools and educational institutions of the country will teach the “science of prayer.” Moreover, then prayer may be, and will be reduced to a science. When that time comes, (it will come as soon as mankind is ready for it, and demands it), no one will approach the Universal Mind in a  state of fear, for the very good reason that there will be no such emotion as fear. Ignorance, superstition, and false teaching will have disappeared, and man will have attained his true status as a child of Infinite Intelligence. A few have already attained this blessing. In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 12 sect The Seven Major Negative Emotions pp. 175)

Napoleon Hill denies that there is a Heaven or Hell. He says that no man have been there or even knows if it exists. This teaching destroys the thought of God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and the Bible. These teachings are of the anti-Christ.

“ETERNITY is a long time. FIRE is a terrible thing. The thought of eternal punishment, with fire, not only causes man to fear death, it often causes him to lose his reason. It destroys interest in life and makes happiness impossible… While the religious leader may not be able to provide safe conduct into heaven, nor, by lack of such provision, allow the unfortunate to descend into hell, the possibility of the latter seems so terrible.“ In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 15 sect. Fear of Death pp. 206- 207)

In truth, NO MAN KNOWS, and no man has ever known, what heaven or hell is like, nor does any man know if either place actually exists. This very lack of positive knowledge opens the door of the human mind to the charlatan so he may enter and control that mind with his stock of legerdemain and various brands of pious fraud and trickery… If death is not mere change, or transition, then nothing comes after death except a long, eternal, peaceful sleep, and sleep is nothing to be feared. Thus you may wipe out, forever, the fear of Death.” In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 15 sect. Fear of Death pp. 206-207)

Napoleon defends his writings by stating that this book is for those with a desire to obtain riches and not a course on religion. Yet his principles touch on ever intimate subject to The Believer and passes on worldly demonic knowledge.

“In subsequent chapters, the methods by which Infinite Intelligence may be most readily contacted will be adequately described. This is not a course on religion. No fundamental principle described in this book should be interpreted as being intended to interfere either directly, or indirectly, with any man’s religious habits. This book has been confined, exclusively, to instructing the reader how to transmute the DEFINITE PURPOSE OF DESIRE FOR MONEY, into its monetary equivalent.” In Think and Grow Rich (chap. 10 sect. The Driving Force pp. 151)

  1. WOW. If you are a Christian then you have been blinded. If you read his books you will see that he makes a mockery of Christ. Christ is the only way to God. You feel that you have found some higher knowlege that have set you free. This is the same knowledge that was offered to Eve. It is pride and a trap to pull your heart away from God. Come back to the truth.

  2. By the way...the only way to receive reconciliation back to God is by Christ through the Holy Spirit. If you have not come through Christ Jesus then you are filled with the spirits of this earth. THE HOLY SPIRIT is not a six sense He is a person (not fleshly) HE is God's Spirit. Not a cell phone connection.

  3. This is nonsense... If you actually pay attention to Napoleon Hills philosophy, you will see what he means by "riches". In fact, he actually states it clearly in the book why he uses the word and what the purpose is behind it, and you will see money is not at all what he is trying to teach people how to attain, however it doesn't mean you cant use his principles to do so. Its a multi dimensional lesson for all who read it. He executed the writing of the philosophy so well, even the close minded, "non religious" person can benefit from it in some way. He's writing on a level that todays society can understand, and he translates the true meaning from the metaphorical aspect with detail, and clarity. You need to stop viewing this world and your fellow people as evil, and nothing but bad intentions. This world is filled with love and amazing godly things to a degree you cannot imagine with that perspective you have. You're only heading in self destruction by being cynical. People like Napoleon Hill have impacted many lives in the most positive way. Pay close attention to his books and philosophies and you will see they are nothing different from the message that the Bible and other religious texts give you. Maybe you should do some research before you classify greatness as wicked. I wish you the best... BTW you contradict yourself when you accuse of one having "higher knowledge" when you sit there and belittle the people that only spread wisdom, love, and knowledge, claiming you 'know" the right answer. We as humans only know the laws of the universe. After that, thats where faith comes in. Correlate that to the Bible and other religious philosophies. Or are you to close minded and brainwashed to even consider it? And for the Christians reading this, Jesus is an example of enlightening others. And look at the people who doubted him. The only person blinded is the one who fails to recognize, by closing their mind off. It's all in the Bible, and its all around you every living day.

    1. Blake V,
Enjoy the lake of fire, because what you have devised is a religion and Jesus was so anti-religion that if you can't see that then you can't understand the bible, and if you can't understand the bible, it is because you never received Christ. Paul stated clearly that the fleshly mind cannot understand the words of Christ because they have not received the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus referred to as "the Teacher, the Helper and the Comforter as well as 'He'" which is not a force but a person. You pick and choose what you want from scripture to make you feel better about yourself or to fulfill your desires in what you have believed in your mind that God is, but are unfortunately wrong. Napoleon Hill was demon possessed and deceived because these "Ascended masters" had him duped into believing that they were benevolent spirits, well they weren't. God states in no uncertain terms that He is the only God and there is no other and He is the savior and there is no other. That use others lie or the truth. I will place my trust in The Lord, Psalm 118:8 or 20:7. You have chosen the way of Balaam and followed after riches instead of The Lord.

  5. You can glorify God with the bible or glorify self with Napolean Hill's teaching. It's predicted and not surprising that many are deceived.

  6. Brian Thompson,
You are deceived. Jesus clearly taught about heaven yet even more about hell. Napoleon Hill is calling Jesus a liar, and what better way to deceive the masses than to get people to believe that there is no such place as hell for those who reject the love of the Truth.

  7. Napoleon Hill and Jesus Christ said the exact same thing. The arrogance of people to think that their interpretation is the only way to have a relationship with God even though the only information they have is the Bible, but they are not directly communicating with God themselves so they're just giving hand down information from generation to generation just like everybody else.

  8. I will say yes and no to what had been said here. For both instances are half true, in the Bible says to absorb the good things and to get disposal of the bad things and even in this book there's a great sense of God's principals given in the tale of the ant and it has a really good focus in the good treatment to others which is great while I differ about his "sixth sense" and his brut obsession with money which I can be turn into a sane act if you are not selfish with it, because I want to get absurdly rich and I have the burning desire, because with the money I can: get all the Bible versions and study guides, I can get instruments and instructors to play music to God, I can help my family with their financial problems, and my friends , I can create both of the fundations that I want to create one for animal care and protection and second for the poor children in my country, and in the way I can get some nice stuff for me. It's not having love for money and material stuff but seeing money as a medium to help others. :) hope this clarifies all conflicts, and for the resolution just skip chapters like the Sixth sense and I a part he's overwhelmed by materialism belief just move on

  9. Thanks for sharing,i bought this book because many recommended it for entrepreneurs, but i felt uncomfortable though i read and finished the whole book.
Napoleon's philosophy is the exact opposite of what the bible teaches, like desiring wealth with such intense desire and having meetings with imaginary friends who are dead,to me this sounds like some kind of demon worshiping.

  10. Lisa,
Yes this is a popular book for entrepreneurs. This book always made my skin crawl as well, similar to A course in miracles. Both channeled books which downplay the efficacy of Jesus Christ.

Here I will explain why it is un biblical. It convinces people to idolize the mind. Rather than rely on Jesus Christ for our substenance. Though many people have become wealthy thru this book ask yourself how many people have also been destroyed.

As the book describes Carniegie as a genius. He sounds more like a heartless crook to me. Or if we think of the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank under false pretense and now look how it has added to the NWO.

  11. Rat poison is 99.995% nutritious! Think about that. Only .005% is poison. Similarly, it only takes a tiny bit of heresy to hurt you badly. The Bible says, "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump," remember? "You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion is not from him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I have confidence in the Lord that you will take no other view, and the one who is troubling you will bear the penalty, whoever he is (Galatians 5:7-10)." I predict Napoleon Hill will have a lot to answer for.

  12. I am very uncomfortable reading this book, there are a lot of great priciples, but I will seek first the kingdom of God and I will not desire money and riches but rather I will desire to produce quality work and contribute a great help to other people. Some on the book is against the teachings of Jesus, great desire of money is dangerous. Napoleon Hill even called Jesus' miracles as simply "faith" and didn't said that he is the Son of God and God is in Him. But ngl this book is very helpful to career, but not really to relationship with Jesus so I will just pick the good ideas here and pluck out the bad

Think and Grow Rich, Norman Vincent Peale (major influence on Trump's pastor), the new age Secret (LOA) and even the atheist doctrine of Meritocracy...all so many manifestations of the Satanic religion adopted by the masses in the end times, as mentioned in Revelation. The times are at hand friends.

  16. As I awoke one winter morning (18-yrs ago), the Holy Spirit clearly impressed me to burn my copy of Napoleon Hill's book, Think and Grow Rich... I was amazed yet put this off for awhile, going about my business for the day. The conviction was confirmed later that afternoon so I did as the Lord had commanded me, and cleansed my home from that accursed object...

Sad thing is that so much of the New Age religion and practice depends upon this book, which for many of them functions as a sort of Bible. The book is clearly of Satanic origin--how do you think that Mr. Hill was able to gain contact with world leaders and businessmen who were already dead by the time he was born? If you aren't totally blind you would have to acknowledge seances/necromancy, which is clearly prohibited by the Scriptures because such practices engage familiar spirits (demons) to impersonate the individual being called up.
