"WAKE UP SLEEPER, RISE FROM THE DEAD, AND CHRIST WILL SHINE ON YOU." (Eph 5:14)

There are wolves in sheep clothing that are tearing through Christ's body. They come as light, love and increase calming to know GOD but deny the WAY. 

Elders of the flock, you are given a mandate to be shepherds of God's flock that are under your care, watching over them as GOD appointed you: NOT PURSUING DISHONEST GAIN. (1Peter 5:1) Don't let the deceiver take away your crown of glory by giving ear to his heresy. Be alert and sober minded. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Please, I beg you WAKE UP!

We are bypasses of the earth and our hope is not in fleshly things and material gain. Our hope is in the Lord. He is the one that gave us the gift of salvation through faith. Are we handing that gift back to Him because we think that we have found sound doctrine that will raise us above our Savior? We are saved through our faith in Christ. Why would we disconnect from Him? Remember, satan offered Adam and Eve the chance to be gods, to do things their way (with their own mind), and they fell from God's grace. satan also offered the same to Christ, to give Him material kingdoms of the earth. Christ knew that nothing offered could surpass the things of his heavenly Father. He didn't trade his spiritual treasures for those of this earth. If you are of Christ follow his example. WAKE UP!

If you are unsure of this but you feel the Spirit at work in you ask yourself:

·       How much time am I spending reading material other than the Bible?

·       When is the last time I read the Word of God?

·       Why should I learn the teachings of Christ from a book other than the Bible? (You may argue that man also put together the Word, but the Word is divinely inspired by God)

·       If this book is teaching me godly principles then why not just spend time in the Bible? (Why settle for half truths when you can be secure in the Word that will not pass away?)

Matthew 7:13-16 (KJV)

¹³ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: ¹⁴ Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. ¹⁵ Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. ¹⁶ Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

John 10:7-11 (KJV)

⁷ Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. ⁸ All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. ⁹ I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. ¹⁰ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. ¹¹ I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Timothy 6:2-10
These are the things you are to teach and insist on. ³ If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, ⁴ they are conceited and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions ⁵ and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. ⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain. ⁷ For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. ⁸ But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. ⁹ Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. ¹⁰ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Christ has compassion for all of His sheep that none be lost to the delusions of the earth. What He died for is far greater than this earthly plane. The danger is when the wolves (that look like sheep) snatch a sheep from His fold. He will search high and low until it is found. This is His cry to your heart. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. He who has an ear hear what the Spirit of God is saying.
